Starting in April 2025, manufacturers and suppliers will have access to key technical tests such as IPH, compatibility, and tensile testing, under international standards. FENZI SOUTH AMERICA has marked a milestone in the glass industry by opening the first private laboratory in South America dedicated exclusively to the analysis of double glazing systems. This new infrastructure offers industry players an unprecedented technical evaluation tool in the region, aimed at improving quality control, innovation, and regulatory compliance.

High-precision technical testing

The new laboratory will perform specialized tests essential for the validation of products and inputs used in glazing systems. These include IPH (Humidity and Temperature Impact) testing, material compatibility tests, and hardness, tensile, and volatility analyses. All of these processes will be performed with state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable results.

Ending Dependence on Foreign Centers

Until the opening of this facility, the technical tests required by manufacturers had to be performed abroad or in non-specialized local centers. This new laboratory eliminates that dependency, allowing studies to be conducted within the region with greater agility, lower costs, and confidentiality protocols that safeguard each company’s developments.

Access for the Entire Value Chain

The FENZI SOUTH AMERICA laboratory will be available to manufacturers, processors, and input suppliers throughout the glass chain. The initiative seeks to facilitate compliance with international standards such as EN 1279, promoting more rigorous validation practices and a qualitative leap in the production of double-glazed units.
