Aluminum, known for its great strength, lightness, and durability, is the material chosen for this innovative solar control and façade system created by Exlabesa Architecture. ESC (Exlabesa Solar Control) slats offer various technical solutions that allow for optimal management of solar incidence, improving both the energy efficiency and aesthetic design of any building.
The system is available in two versions: fixed slats and adjustable slats, both with vertical or horizontal installation options. Furthermore, the slats are offered in different shapes, such as elliptical, rectangular, and trapezoidal sections, facilitating extensive customization to suit the needs of each project. The slat sizes are tailored to the design and specific application, with common options of 400, 300, and 200 mm for the rectangular and elliptical versions, and more compact sizes of 150 and 125 mm for the elliptical versions. Trapezoidal slats, meanwhile, are available in 300 and 200 mm sizes. This flexibility allows for optimal aesthetic and functional integration into all types of façades, perfectly suited to new construction and renovation projects.

Adjustable slats allow manual or motorized tilt adjustment and can be integrated into the building’s home automation system for even more efficient control.
Exlabesa’s solar control system is also characterized by its quick and easy installation. For the fixed slats, you can choose to mount them with an aluminum or stainless steel side cover, or use continuous slats secured with adjustable clamps or fixed aluminum brackets. In the case of adjustable slats, installation is carried out on a perimeter frame, using caps connected to stainless steel shafts. The drive system can be manual, using a knob, or motorized, offering greater comfort and precision.
Exlabesa Architecture offers this versatile solar control system, available in a wide range of highly durable finishes (anodized and lacquered), perfectly suited to the functional requirements of sun protection and privacy, as well as the technical and aesthetic demands of any architectural project. Made of aluminum, this system is designed to be easy to maintain, guarantee long-lasting durability, and offer great resistance to extreme weather conditions.
Thanks to its innovative design, this solar control system provides continuous and uniform protection against direct solar radiation, while improving privacy inside spaces. Exlabesa Architecture remains at the forefront of innovation, offering solutions that perfectly adapt to the needs of each project, guaranteeing functionality, aesthetics, and energy efficiency.
