A+W SOFTWARE:  “BUILDING TOMORROW” THE FUTURE OF GLASS,WINDOW AND DOOR MANUFACTURING

For three days, manufacturers, partners, and equipment suppliers met with A+W software experts and other industry leaders to network, learn, share ideas, and explore the technologies shaping the future of glass, window, and door manufacturing.

This year’s theme, “BUILDING TOMORROW,” was realized through presentations, collaborative sessions, in-depth one-on-one sessions with customers, and real-life success stories from A+W customers and partners.

Applied Innovation and Success Stories

From keynote speakers to hands-on product demonstrations, the agenda highlighted the power of innovation in solving everyday business challenges.

Ryan MacDonald of PFG GLASS explained how the A+W SMART DELIVERY program has improved their customer experience and increased efficiency through electronic delivery documentation, customer acceptance of electronic signatures, immediate and organized shipment reordering, and faster invoicing.

Emerging Software Technologies

Attendees also learned about new software solutions in artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and advanced RTO technology. A+W officially presented its latest innovations to the attending customers. A major product innovation will arrive at GlassBuild 2025 in Orlando, Florida, USA.

Technical Advances in Machinery and Quality Control

Forel and VIPROTRON shared the latest advances in QR engraving, special anti-bird-strike glass, vacuum-assisted handling, triple-layered glazing manufacturing, high-precision cutting and sorting, and quality control improvements thanks to defect scanning technology at multiple points in the workshop.

Live Demonstrations of Digital Tools

Live demonstrations of A+W’s SMART COMPANION, SMART FACTORY, and IQUOTE tools were provided, showcasing how digital connectivity and real-time data are revolutionizing its customers’ production, inventory, and quoting management.

Optimization, Networking, and Upcoming Events

Attendees witnessed firsthand how A+W uses intelligent software to turn complexity into optimization. And, of course, it wasn’t all about technology and tools: networking receptions, team dinners, and informal chats provided plenty of time to catch up, connect, and ask questions to A+W experts. The next A+W user conference will take place in 2027.
